Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008), which rose 9.76% or 9.00 points to trade at 101.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 6.50% or 3.66 points to end at 60.00 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was up 5.24% or 1.36 points to 27.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which fell 4.43% or 0.90 points to trade at 19.40 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.34% or 2.49 points to end at 72.00 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) was down 3.21% or 1.25 points to 37.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 47.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.34% or 2.49 to 72.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.86% or 0.38 to $44.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.47% or 0.23 to hit $47.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.03% or 11.40 to trade at $1113.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.08% to 4.2039, while USD/SAR rose 0.06% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.01% at 95.97.
