Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Banking and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA), which rose 5.38% or 2.39 points to trade at 46.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 5.03% or 0.33 points to end at 6.89 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 3.53% or 0.17 points to 4.93 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 8.93% or 1.6 points to trade at 16.6 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 6.42% or 1.70 points to end at 24.80 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 5.16% or 2.6 points to 48.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 77 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 4.78% or 1.54 to $30.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.65% or 1.20 to hit $31.64 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.06% or 11.60 to trade at $1107.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.48% to 9.4778, while USD/NOK rose 0.12% to 8.7471.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 99.44.
