SYDNEY, March 23 (Reuters) - The Pilbara Ports Authority, which operates Australia's largest iron ore export terminal, said on Thursday it has reopened its Dampier port after bad weather forced it to close for 18 hours.
The operator closed the Dampier port after a weak tropical low developed, but left open the main Port Hedland port, 200 km to the northeast.
Port Hedland is the world's biggest iron ore export terminal and ships tens of millions of tonnes of ore to China every month.
