Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.92% or 1.75 points to trade at 19.40 at the close. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 6.53% or 1.30 points to end at 21.20 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) was up 4.65% or 0.80 points to 18.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which lost 4.36% or 1.30 points to trade at 28.50 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 3.61% or 0.150 points to end at 4.000 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) shed 1.35% or 0.15 points to 10.95.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 116 to 41 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $49.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1229.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.0266, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 100.14.
