Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.31% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 0.44% or 5.0 points to trade at 1130.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.28% or 80.0 points to end at 28280.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 1005.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.86% or 300.0 points to trade at 10200.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 2.30% or 640.0 points to end at 27240.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.90% or 25.0 points to 1290.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 27 to 3 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.81% or 1.16 to $141.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 1.96% or 39.50 to hit $2054.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.15 to trade at $1197.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.43% to 2996.95, while BRL/COP fell 0.30% to 943.68.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 101.65.
