Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (SE:8012), which rose 5.88% or 1.60 points to trade at 28.80 at the close. Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) added 5.70% or 1.70 points to end at 31.50 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 5.49% or 1.50 points to 28.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 4.06% or 0.80 points to trade at 18.90 in late trade. Zamil Industrial Investment Co (SE:2240) declined 3.82% or 1.10 points to end at 27.70 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) shed 3.45% or 1.20 points to 33.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 65 and 27 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.76% or 0.85 to $47.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.42% or 0.73 to hit $50.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.15 to trade at $1201.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.20% to 3.9874, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 101.48.
