Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 1.18% or 130 points to trade at 11170 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.12% or 130 points to end at 11700 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.96% or 5.0 points to 525.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 2.01% or 4.9 points to trade at 238.4 in late trade. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) declined 1.69% or 1.90 points to end at 110.40 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 1.40% or 0.52 points to 36.56.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 60 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.36% or 0.19 to $53.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $55.88 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1227.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 7.0221, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4333.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 101.66.
