Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 1.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 3.16% or 157 points to trade at 5130 at the close. Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 2.78% or 450 points to end at 16660 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was up 2.65% or 39 points to 1509 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which lost 0.10% or 60 points to trade at 61130 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 0.03% or 20 points to end at 58920 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) gained 0.13% or 5 points to 3769.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 241 to 103 and 100 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.66% or 0.29 to $44.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $45.63 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.69% or 22.05 to trade at $1282.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.63% to 3.8140, while EUR/ILS fell 0.48% to 4.2089.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.94% at 97.85.
