Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200), which rose 9.96% or 1.30 points to trade at 14.35 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) added 8.77% or 1.00 points to end at 12.40 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was up 6.92% or 1.10 points to 17.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which lost 3.87% or 0.30 points to trade at 7.45 in late trade. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.86% or 1.00 points to end at 24.90 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 3.13% or 0.100 points to 3.100.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 96 to 45 and 28 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.68% or 0.34 to $50.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.79% or 0.41 to hit $52.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.80% or 10.15 to trade at $1258.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.1916, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 96.51.
