Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.18% or 10.0 points to trade at 859.5 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.73% or 3.6 points to end at 496.0 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 0.55% or 0.7 points to 127.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 2.49% or 1.60 points to trade at 62.65 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.31% or 200 points to end at 8450 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.93% or 170 points to 8655.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 50 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.41% or 0.95 to $38.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.01% or 0.82 to hit $40.05 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.64% or 20.00 to trade at $1242.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.59% to 6.6200, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4537.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.59% at 95.42.
