Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.79% or 560.0 points to trade at 31760.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) added 1.71% or 540.0 points to end at 32200.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.98% or 220.0 points to 22600.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 5.41% or 85.0 points to trade at 1485.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 5.10% or 250.0 points to end at 4650.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 2.34% or 240.0 points to 10000.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 6 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.10% or 250.0 to 4650.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 3.01% or 3.48 to $111.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.97% or 116.00 to hit $2809.00 , while the February Gold contract rose 1.21% or 13.20 to trade at $1102.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 2.57% to 3395.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.67% to 828.47.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 99.24.
