Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 2.70% or 0.6 points to trade at 22.8 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.26% or 55.0 points to end at 4430.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.20% or 340.0 points to 28760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 1.69% or 980.0 points to trade at 57000.0 in late trade. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 1.44% or 520.0 points to end at 35480.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 1.08% or 400.0 points to 36480.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 9 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.03% or 1.45 to $142.43 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 3.32% or 65.50 to hit $1908.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.45 to trade at $1252.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.26% to 2928.47, while BRL/COP rose 1.25% to 941.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 101.10.
