Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.11% or 29.5 points to trade at 746.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.54% or 8.0 points to end at 526.5 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.47% or 3.50 points to 240.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 1.83% or 155 points to trade at 8320 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.74% or 2.3 points to end at 130.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.56% or 135 points to 8500.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 60 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.08% or 0.33 to $30.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.58% or 0.20 to hit $34.70 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.86% or 10.40 to trade at $1221.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.7267, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4626.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 96.97.
