Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.58% or 18.5 points to trade at 736.5 at the close. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) added 1.48% or 4.00 points to end at 275.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.23% or 7.0 points to 574.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 3.19% or 14.5 points to trade at 439.5 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.23% or 3.1 points to end at 248.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 1.12% or 1.8 points to 159.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 65 to 47 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.09% or 0.56 to $51.71 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.01% or 0.55 to hit $54.91 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.95 to trade at $1254.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.9813, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 100.56.
