Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 1.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 1.33% or 490 points to trade at 37370 at the close. Osem (TA:OSEM) unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to end at 8299 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was down 0.49% or 80 points to 16210 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which lost 3.53% or 127 points to trade at 3473 in late trade. Leumi (TA:LUMI) declined 3.23% or 46 points to end at 1376 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) shed 3.22% or 1940 points to 58230.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 218 to 82 and 152 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.36% or 0.16 to $43.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $45.58 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.15 to trade at $1246.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.06% to 3.7580, while EUR/ILS rose 0.00% to 4.2509.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.02% at 94.47.
