Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 0.51% or 5.0 points to trade at 995.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.50% or 300.0 points to end at 60300.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) was up 0.43% or 5.0 points to 1175.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 1.29% or 110.0 points to trade at 8430.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.10% or 120.0 points to end at 10800.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 0.91% or 25.0 points to 2730.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.51% or 0.70 to $137.07 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.67% or 14.00 to hit $2113.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1258.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.23% to 2859.67, while BRL/COP fell 0.89% to 918.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 100.36.
