Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (COP:GEN), which rose 2.56% or 16.0 points to trade at 642.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (COP:DSV) added 1.90% or 4.8 points to end at 257.3 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) was up 1.67% or 6.3 points to 382.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 7.07% or 3.41 points to trade at 44.80 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) declined 0.70% or 5.5 points to end at 778.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 0.60% or 2.2 points to 363.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 69 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (COP:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 1.90% or 4.8 to 257.3.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.89% or 0.83 to $44.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.77% or 1.36 to hit $50.60 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.08% or 11.80 to trade at $1105.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.7832, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4622.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.34% at 97.33.
