Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 0.97% or 1.7 points to trade at 177.4 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.94% or 2.5 points to end at 268.2 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.37% or 0.70 points to 191.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which lost 2.77% or 1.68 points to trade at 58.92 in late trade. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.56% or 2.40 points to end at 151.20 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 1.51% or 3.0 points to 195.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 295 to 290 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.11% or 0.05 to $44.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.60% or 0.76 to hit $46.87 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.36% or 18.05 to trade at $1344.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.5231, while USD/SEK fell 1.10% to 8.4747.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.83% at 94.95.
