Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Real Estate Development and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.70% or 0.80 points to trade at 9.05 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 7.57% or 3.30 points to end at 46.90 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 7.28% or 0.55 points to 8.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Hokair Group (SE:1820), which lost 3.30% or 1.50 points to trade at 44.00 in late trade. Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (SE:1214) declined 3.29% or 0.80 points to end at 23.50 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) shed 3.22% or 2.75 points to 82.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 111 to 38 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.37% or 0.18 to $48.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.17% or 0.08 to hit $48.43 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.95% or 11.95 to trade at $1239.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.56% to 4.1843, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 95.52.
