Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Auto & components, Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo), which rose 2.36% or 17.5 points to trade at 759.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) added 1.71% or 0.2 points to end at 11.9 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 1.40% or 1.50 points to 108.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE), which fell 5.15% or 2.8 points to trade at 50.6 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 4.64% or 1.66 points to end at 34.10 and Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) was down 3.92% or 1.92 points to 47.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 74 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.39% or 1.14 to $46.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.80% or 1.42 to hit $49.05 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.97% or 11.50 to trade at $1171.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.18% to 9.1883, while USD/NOK rose 0.05% to 8.1159.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 94.98.
