Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.82% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which rose 9.81% or 2.60 points to trade at 29.10 at the close. Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 9.47% or 0.90 points to end at 10.40 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) was up 6.86% or 0.35 points to 5.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001), which lost 3.10% or 2.75 points to trade at 86.00 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 2.18% or 0.70 points to end at 31.40 and Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) shed 1.92% or 0.20 points to 10.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 126 to 30 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.13% or 0.06 to $45.04 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.56% or 0.26 to hit $46.30 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 2.07% or 26.35 to trade at $1300.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.1336, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 97.87.
