Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130), which rose 9.66% or 1.00 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) added 9.29% or 0.65 points to end at 7.65 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 9.16% or 5.75 points to 68.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300), which lost 32.88% or 14.40 points to trade at 29.40 in late trade. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) declined 9.97% or 1.45 points to end at 13.10 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) shed 9.76% or 2.90 points to 26.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 120 to 36 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.32% or 0.55 to $41.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.36% or 0.59 to hit $42.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.55 to trade at $1354.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.1873, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 95.69.
