Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.47% to hit a new 6-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.93% or 11.2 points to trade at 393.7 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.82% or 10.5 points to end at 586.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 1.73% or 2.7 points to 159.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 5.45% or 19.4 points to trade at 336.4 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 3.48% or 12.8 points to end at 355.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.44% or 10.5 points to 719.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 65 to 52 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.96% or 0.47 to $48.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.78% or 0.40 to hit $51.12 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.87 to trade at $1256.37 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.8158, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4369.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 98.95.
