Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.01% or 120.0 points to trade at 11980.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 0.70% or 280.0 points to end at 40000.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 0.55% or 15.0 points to 2750.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.63% or 15.0 points to trade at 555.0 in late trade. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) declined 1.15% or 15.0 points to end at 1295.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.28% or 440.0 points to 33860.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.21% or 0.28 to $133.42 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.16% or 3.00 to hit $1909.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 5.65 to trade at $1233.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.40% to 3031.06, while BRL/COP rose 0.31% to 952.43.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.90.
