Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Retail, Insurance and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 10.34% or 3.00 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 9.23% or 4.20 points to end at 49.70 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 6.39% or 0.85 points to 14.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which lost 6.03% or 1.35 points to trade at 21.05 in late trade. Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) declined 3.58% or 0.65 points to end at 17.50 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) shed 3.17% or 0.300 points to 9.150.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 94 to 56 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $49.54 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $52.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.32% or 16.97 to trade at $1272.13 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.35% to 4.0765, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 98.89.
