Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 1.36% or 15.0 points to trade at 1120.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.11% or 90.0 points to end at 8220.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 0.93% or 40.0 points to 4330.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.74% or 200.0 points to trade at 11320.0 in late trade. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) declined 1.49% or 160.0 points to end at 10600.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.23% or 8.0 points to 640.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 7 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.93% or 1.34 to $142.73 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.98% or 40.50 to hit $2001.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.65 to trade at $1234.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.34% to 2866.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.12% to 918.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 100.25.
