Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Magna Finance Tbk (JK:MGNA), which rose 20.97% or 13.00 points to trade at 75.00 at the close. Wahana Pronatural (JK:WAPO) added 15.38% or 8 points to end at 60 and Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) was up 14.29% or 23.00 points to 184.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samindo Resources Tbk (JK:MYOH), which lost 9.70% or 49 points to trade at 456 in late trade. Steady Safe TBK PT (JK:SAFE) declined 9.52% or 12 points to end at 114 and Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk (JK:TIRT) shed 9.09% or 9 points to 90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 173 to 117 and 92 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.69% or 0.79 to $45.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.50% or 0.72 to hit $47.36 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.33% or 4.25 to trade at $1275.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.09% to 13307.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.19% to 9719.90.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 94.28.
