Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Services, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 3.10% or 380.0 points to trade at 12620.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 1.32% or 500.0 points to end at 38240.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 1.14% or 440.0 points to 39040.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 1.47% or 160.0 points to trade at 10760.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.00% or 120.0 points to end at 11880.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 0.98% or 280.0 points to 28320.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.14% or 1.50 to $130.52 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.47% or 9.50 to hit $2027.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.69 to trade at $1260.29 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.89% to 2905.65, while BRL/COP rose 0.35% to 888.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 96.87.
