Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 4.16% or 171 points to trade at 4281 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 3.08% or 1920 points to end at 64220 and Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) was up 2.87% or 900 points to 32300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which fell 2.65% or 2500 points to trade at 92000 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) declined 1.35% or 63 points to end at 4606 and Nice (TA:NICE) was down 1.21% or 290 points to 23710.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 199 to 134 and 118 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.06% or 0.91 to $43.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.80% or 0.86 to hit $47.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.30 to trade at $1087.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.38% to 3.8992, while EUR/ILS fell 0.36% to 4.1833.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 99.14.
