Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.15% or 0.79 points to trade at 37.50 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.73% or 4.7 points to end at 277.1 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.60% or 5.4 points to 343.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.34% or 9.0 points to trade at 662.0 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.20% or 17.0 points to end at 1401.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.39% or 1.4 points to 355.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 62 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.87% or 0.44 to $51.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.60% or 0.32 to hit $53.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.89 to trade at $1259.49 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6279, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4448.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 96.88.
