Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure, Mining and Holding Companies sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Afric Industries Sa (CS:AFIND), which rose 5.99% or 18.75 points to trade at 331.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Unimer (CS:UMR) added 5.98% or 10.00 points to end at 176.95 and Ciments Du Maroc (CS:SCM) was up 5.52% or 57 points to 1089 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Colorado (CS:COL), which fell 6.00% or 4.08 points to trade at 63.92 at the close. Risma (CS:RIS) declined 6.00% or 8.10 points to end at 126.90 and Eqdom (CS:EQDM) was down 5.99% or 56 points to 880.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 25 to 21 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.66% or 0.22 to $33.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.59% or 0.54 to hit $33.22 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.40% or 4.40 to trade at $1103.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.09% to 10.7890, while USD/MAD rose 0.16% to 9.9035.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 98.71.
