Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 0.67% or 0.5 points to trade at 74.6 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) added 0.45% or 21 points to end at 4648 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 0.40% or 24 points to 6077 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 1.07% or 360 points to trade at 33260 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 0.88% or 600 points to end at 67350 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) shed 0.84% or 13 points to 1542.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 183 to 154 and 108 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $47.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $50.15 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1324.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.7764, while EUR/ILS fell 0.37% to 4.2288.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.84% at 95.48.
