Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 2.47% or 660.0 points to trade at 27420.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.21% or 140.0 points to end at 11720.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 0.81% or 0.2 points to 24.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.46% or 20.0 points to trade at 1350.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.40% or 300.0 points to end at 21080.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.29% or 8.0 points to 610.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.34% or 0.43 to $126.33 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.08% or 1.50 to hit $1969.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.60 to trade at $1281.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 2919.78, while BRL/COP rose 0.37% to 895.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.93.
