Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Distributors and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which rose 5.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 21.00 at the close. Brasseries Du Maroc (CS:SBM) added 4.76% or 100 points to end at 2200 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) was up 4.21% or 4.00 points to 99.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jet Contractors (CS:JET), which lost 7.37% or 10.90 points to trade at 137.00 in late trade. BMCI (CS:BMCI) declined 6.28% or 39 points to end at 580 and Timar (CS:TIM) shed 5.91% or 14.45 points to 230.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 24 to 16 and 11 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.25% or 0.63 to $49.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.22% or 0.63 to hit $50.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.76% or 9.55 to trade at $1273.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.11% to 10.7820, while USD/MAD fell 0.04% to 9.9008.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.69.
