People are thumbing this comment down but don't realise the CEO is a clown and the directors are asleep at the wheel. Customer service is garbage and their network isn't what it used to be while they still charge a premium to competitors. Andy Penn made CEO in May 2015, right before the stock nosedived. Coincidence? Company needs new leadership before we see anything good happening with the stock.

Bryn Owen can you explain your logic? The t22 plan doesnt sound like directors asleep at the wheel. This plan on improving infrastructure, lowering costs and improving customer service sounds like a good plan to me. Infact sounds like theyre awake at the wheel or at least sounds like an effort to improve their market position

Eran Salih  The T22 plan is just Andy's last ditch effort to improve the bottom line instead of actually improving their business. They're solely focused on "cost reduction" and not customer satisfaction. Take a look at customer reviews online. The support is dreadful. Their plan for this? Cutting 8,000 jobs and creating “an all-digital experience” using chat bots and messaging in place of actually providing customer support. Then you have his pay increase of 33% to a cool $5 mill while net earnings fell 40% in 2019. Not a big enough middle finger for you? Let’s slash dividends by a third just to top it off. Still think the board is doing a great job?

Bryn Owen cost reduction is a big part of the business. Yes ive seen the fustomer reviews but find me a telco company that has positive reviews online. This entire t22 plan isnt only about cost reduction its also focused on improvijg customer sarisfaction. Also not sure what you mean by sividend cuts? Theyve been paying 0.16 per year /share for sometime now?It may look grim now but tbe stock price reflects this. I think anyone is in a good position to profit from telstra shaeres in the long term. They are undervalued right now.

Have you ever tried to make a call 20kms from the CBD on the Optus network? Nice little nostalgia trip for those who want to feel like they have stepped back in time to 1998.

Telstra is currently in a long term downtrend, with no turn around detected. Buy at own risk.

It might look like Telstra stocks are close to finding a base, but their performance since mid May 2017 has more greens. #Long 4 at least 6 months, no lacklustre selling for now!
