Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.44% or 7.6 points to trade at 319.4 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.54% or 0.52 points to end at 34.20 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.36% or 1.00 points to 74.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 3.19% or 38.0 points to trade at 1155.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.79% or 12.2 points to end at 425.3 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 2.67% or 7.1 points to 258.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.85% or 0.96 to $50.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.75% or 0.96 to hit $53.98 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.52% or 6.15 to trade at $1170.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.9487, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4380.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.42% at 100.58.
